What is The Modiste?
The Modiste is one of a kind subscription based styling platform. We deliver a shopping experience that is completely personalised for you. Our stylists will handpick an ensemble of 5-7 items, according to your styling preference, lifestyle and budget. This will be picked based on a phone conversation with you. The call will happen only once, next time you can simply schedule your box and your stylist knows what to send you.
How does it work?
- Register with The Modiste and pay a modest fee of Rs. 199 to get your very own personal stylist.
- Schedule your first box and talk to your stylist.
- Get a personalised box handpicked by your personal stylist based on your call with your stylist.
- You will get 30-45 minutes to try the stuff on.
- Pay for what you like and return the rest.
Who is your target audience?
We believe everybody should have the privilege to look amazing. We are offering our services to all the women who are above 18 years of age.
Do you style men and kids?
Currently we are offering our services only to women.
Is there any styling fee for the personal stylist?
Yes, we have a modest fee of Rs. 199 which will be refunded if you decided to buy anything from the box.
Is there any discount if I decide to keep all the items?
If you love everything that our stylist has picked for you, we will offer you a discount of 25% on the entire box. You will also get surprise discounts on particular items inside the box.
Can I avail a stylist at my home for my personal shopping?
As of now we are not offering this service, but our team is working on it and pretty soon we will be offering a stylist who will take you out shopping.
What types of items might you send me?
We currently send tops, dresses, blouses, tee shirts, skirts, jeans, jumpsuits and jewellery. Since we are growing quickly, we will be adding more categories to cover all your fashion needs.
When will my stylist call me?
After you schedule the box, your stylist will call you in a days time or two.
What if I do not like my stylist?
No issues. If you are not happy with your stylist just write us a mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will assign you another stylist.
How can I reset the password?
Log into your account and in the Account section click on the "Edit" button to change your password.
I forgot my password, now what?
No problem, you can simply click on "forgot your password", it will take you to a reset password page in which you can change your password. After changing the password you will receive a verification link on your registered email ID to validate your request.
How can I track my shipment?
Once your shipment will be dispatched you will receive a mail from The Modiste and within a day your order will be delivered.
How can I cancel the shipment?
You can log into your account and in the order section you can cancel your shipment. Although you can cancel the shipment anytime you want, but it will be convenient for us if you will let us know within two days of placing the order.
What is the estimated delivery time?
The estimated delivery time is 4-5 days from the day you will place the order, but we will try our best to deliver it to you at the earliest.
What shall I do if my shipment has been tampered or opened upon delivery?
We ensure quality check before delivering the item, but if you find a damaged item let us know we will replace it.
About Return Policy
What is your return policy?
If you would like to return a piece or the box you just need to fill a return/feedback form and keep the item(s) in the box. We ask that the clothes are returned with their labels on and in a re-saleable condition, otherwise we will have to charge you for them. We request you to go through terms and conditions thoroughly to avoid any inconvenience later on.
What happens if the delivery arrives while I'm at work?
We will call you before shipping the order, so if you will not be at home just let us know a suitable time so that we can deliver the order at the earliest.
How does shipping works?
Once you schedule a box we will deliver the box on the specified date.
Do I have to pay for the shipping charges?
Our shipping and return is absolutely free. It is a token from our end for choosing our service.
Where can you ship the package to?
We can ship the package to the address that you will mention in your profile.
Can I expedite the shipping process?
Good service is of utmost importance to us. The entire process involves a lot of steps starting from research by our stylist to picking best clothes, packaging and then shipping. Still, we will try our best to deliver you in the minimum time possible.
How you will be shipping my order?
We will give you both the options – delivering at home or in the office. If you chose to receive the shipment at your work place, you will have an entire day to try the stuff on and if you opt to choose the shipment at your place you will have an hour to try the clothes on.
Do you have the option of COD?
Yes, as of now cash on delivery is the only payment option we have. We are working on other payment models in accordance with the RBI regulations.
Are there other payment options too?
Yes, you can pay online through Instamojo payment gateway.
